Although the business has been around since the 1970s, Tony’s Auto Repair entered a new chapter in 2004 when Robert and Elizabeth Rowland became its proud owners. Robert, who began working as a mechanic at just 16 years old, never originally planned to run a business—but over time, the pieces naturally fell into place. Now, as he approaches his 47th birthday in July, he brings nearly 31 years of hands-on experience to the shop. Working alongside Robert are two other highly skilled mechanics who share the same commitment to excellence. The team at Tony’s Auto Repair takes great pride in delivering top-quality service with honesty and integrity at the core of everything they do.

Robert and Elizabeth have been happily married for 25 years and are the proud parents of two boys, ages 16 and 12. Family life is important to them—they love spending time together, especially cheering on their kids at baseball and football games. Outside of work and family, the Rowlands are deeply involved in their church community. Robert serves as an Elder and plays bass guitar in the praise team, while Elizabeth shares her heart through teaching in the ladies’ ministry. Their support extends to local dirt tracks, high school events, and youth associations, reflecting their love for the community.
